You can put one or two offers on the card. We recommend two, because they do different jobs:
A standout offer to get them in the door — your headliner. Something genuinely exciting, like a free item, good for one to a few uses.
A year-round offer to bring them back — lighter, but valuable, redeemable every visit until the card expires. Think free fries with a burger, or buy-one-get-one.
One offer is perfectly fine if that's what suits you. But the more value you put on the card, the more it works in your favor.
A tip from experience: "free with purchase" and "buy one, get one" pull far better than "10% off" or "$2 off." People light up over getting something free, and you can require a purchase so you're making a sale every single time. You add value to the card and protect your margin. The stronger your offer, the more prominent its spot on the card — the best deals sits right at the top where everyone sees them first.

Cards are fully digital, living in the Money Dolly app (a school fundraising app) — nothing for you to stock or scan.
When a customer redeems, they tap a Redeem Now button and a live five-minute countdown appears. That moving timer is your verification it's real (a screenshot can't fake it), and if you use a code, it shows there for your staff. One-time offers automatically disappear after they're used, so nothing gets reused by accident.
